Traces of Birds
Painting is my meditation — a practice that has given me stillness, purpose, and a way of seeing the world.
These birds began as a series in 2014 on my commute home. Two hours a day on the train became my studio. I started drawing over images on my iPad, experimenting quietly, and over time, a style emerged — one rooted in finding peace in small transformations over time.
Each piece still takes weeks to complete. I draw digitally, then sometimes print and paint over the work by hand, letting the two processes speak to each other.
From those original bird illustrations, azita9 has grown into a full creative practice. My shop offers fine art prints, greeting cards, jewelry, and objects made to carry a little bit of that stillness into everyday life.
